State School Teachers' Union Of Western Australia have entrusted Long Road Website Development to build, host and manage their websites since 2007.

The current site contains a multitude of networking and membership applications as well and news, multimedia, newsletter and document distribution services for use by their 15,000 members and the rest of the education world.

With outgoing feed to facebook and youtube video, the site uses a number of ways to promote the union's causes both to members and the outside world. The site also has a high definition video player which displays videos create by the union as well as videos from affiliate bodies.

The site employs a secure members only area with web forum and social networking features to allow for secure communications between schools across Western Australia. Displayed on the site are events management and calandar systems, document downloads and news.

The site also features live web chat support so members can get instant technical support as they use the site. The same system is employed on the Long Road site (feel free to try it out now).

Long Road Website Development manage the site exclusively for the union and perform all updates of content and software as well as providing technical support for members.
